CORPORATE OVERVIEW
Igiri Petroleum Ltd, established in 2015, is a start-up Oil and Gas Exploration and Development company. It is a majority owned subsidiary of the Hides Gas Development Company Limited (HGDC) which is the umbrella company of the upstream landowners of the PNG LNG Project and other small shareholding companies.
Igiri Petroleum is based in Port Moresby. Registered office is at Level 6 Defens Haus, Cnr Hunter St & Champion Pde, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. It owns and operates four active Petroleum Prospecting Licenses including, PPL 614, PPL 634, PPL 671 and PPL 682 and one application for petroleum prospecting licenses, APPL 689. The four PPLs occupy circa 5,938sq km in total, in the fold belt and foreland regions of the Papuan Basin, accumulating a combined undiscovered prospective petroleum resource of 1200 MMBBL (STOOIP) oil and 3.6 TCF gas (GIIP). Two PPLs are in the Western Province and two PPLs and one APPL are in the Hela Province, within the lucrative Papuan Basin where oil and gas are being produced and exported.
